Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly transformed the field of English Language Teaching (ELT), reshaping traditional teaching methodologies and creating new opportunities for language learning. The integration of digital tools such as online learning platforms, mobile applications, artificial intelligence (AI), virtual classrooms, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia resources has revolutionized how English is taught and learned across diverse educational contexts. This digital transformation has become even more prominent in the post-pandemic era, where technology has emerged as an essential component of education rather than a supplementary resource. Digital transformation in ELT extends beyond the simple use of technological devices; it represents a comprehensive shift toward learner-centered, interactive, and flexible pedagogical practices. Modern digital tools enable teachers to design personalized learning experiences, provide immediate feedback, facilitate collaborative learning, and promote learner autonomy. Students, in turn, benefit from greater access to authentic language materials, real-time communication with native and non-native speakers, and opportunities for self-paced learning that enhance language proficiency and digital literacy simultaneously.
